This kit is designed to allow M12/P0.5 mount lenses to be attached to the RaspberryPi HQ camera.
The RaspberryPi HQ camera is a camera module to which C-mount and CS-mount lenses can be attached, but M12/P0.5 (S-mount) lenses cannot be attached.
However, by using the “RaspberryPi HQ Camera M12 Lens Adapter”, you can use M12/P0.5 (S-mount) lenses, which are available in a wider variety and cheaper and lighter than C/CS mount lenses.

Compatible lenses

RP-L185

Fisheye lens with a 185° field of view.
A circumferential image can be obtained in the center of the image.

RP-L125

This lens provides a horizontal field of view of approximately 120°.
When used with HQ cameras, vignetting will appear in the four corners.

RP-L100

This lens is recommended if you want to capture the widest possible wide-angle image with your HQ camera.
You can get a wide angle image like an action camera with the RaspberryPi HQ camera.

RP-L85

This lens produces high quality, sharp images at wide angles.

RP-L55

This lens provides an angle of view close to that of a standard lens with minimal barrel distortion.

RP-L20

This lens allows the RaspberryPi HQ camera to be used as a telephoto camera.

About NoIR version

By removing the filter attached to the camera’s mount holder and using a lens without an IR-cut filter, it is possible to take pictures using infrared light. However, since the image output from the camera is adjusted based on the basic image “with filter”, the image will have high contrast as shown in the sample above.

Please be aware of the above when ordering the NoIR version without IR cut filter.

Installation

Easy to install and return to original

The mounting adapter for the RaspberryPi HQ camera needs to be replaced, but this is easily done.

The camera can also be used as the original camera by changing back to the HQ camera’s original mount adapter.

 

Prepare the RaspberryPi HQ Camera.
Remove the two screws on the back of the camera.
The mount adapter can be detached from the camera.
Remove the filter that is glued to the mount adapter. Push it in from the top with your finger and it will come off.

The filter can be removed from the mount adapter.
I was able to remove the mount adapter from the camera.
Attach the removed filter to the Entaniya mount adapter.
The filter should be glued if necessary.

About fixing the filter

Since the filter is not fixed, it may move and damage the glass of the sensor when used in a place with vibration.
It is recommended that the filter be glued to the mount adapter and fixed in place before use.
When gluing the filter, take a small amount of adhesive on the tip of a toothpick or the like before gluing. Be careful not to apply too much.


Entaniya Attach the camera base to the mount adapter.。
Tighten the two screws to secure the mount adapter.
