The sensor size of the FUJIFILM GFX is 42.8 x 32.9 mm.
The image circle size of the Entaniya Fisheye HAL 220 LF can be adjusted in steps from a minimum focal length of 9.1 mm to a maximum focal length of 12.6 mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minimum focal length 9.1mm<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The minimum focal length is 9.1 mm and the image circle is 33.1 mm in diameter, as shown in the green line above figure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It looks almost like a circumferential fisheye lens, but in reality, the top and bottom are slightly cut off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since it has a 220-degree field of view, it can be used as a 210-degree circuler fisheye lens when cropped except for the vignetting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you really want a 220-degree circumferential image, we recommend the Entaniya Fisheye HAL 220 PL, which is a HAL 220 series lens with a smaller image circle than the LF.<\/p>\n\n\n

Advantages of combining the FUJIFILM GFX100 with the Entaniya Fisheye HAL 220 LF<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

High resolution material for dome contents<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When used at a focal length of 10.6 mm, the 180\u00b0 circumference fits exactly on the sensor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A high resolution of approximately 8.500 px can be achieved at 180 degrees. This makes it ideal for capturing material for dome contents where high-resolution video is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Generally, when taking high-resolution 360\u00b0 panoramic photos, a lens with a long focal length (a lens with a narrow angle of view) is used to increase the resolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result, the number of shots for both horizontal and vertical shooting increases and the shooting time also increases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The more shots you take, the more likely you are to have problems with accuracy, and the more time and effort you have to put into the final stitching of the photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When used with the Entaniya Fisheye HAL 220 LF at a focal length of 12.6 mm, the Entaniya Fisheye HAL 220 LF can encompass 360 degrees in just three shots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In that case, the 180\u00b0 field of view contains about 10,300 px of pixels, creating a high-resolution 360\u00b0 panoramic photo of about 20,000 x 10,000 px.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When shooting outdoors in areas where cars and people come and go, or where there are time constraints, using a wide-angle lens is a huge advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Video Mode and Image Circles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Video on the FUJIFILM GFX100 is shot using the full width of the sensor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aspect ratio is 16:9, which means that the top and bottom of the sensor is cut off, resulting in a height size of around 24.6 mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The diagonal size is larger than the image circle of the HAL 220 LF, resulting in vignetting in the four corners as shown in the above figure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
