4K VR Live Streaming

Here’s how Blackmagicdesign’s Micro Studio Camera 4K and Entaniya Fisheye HAL250 MFT 2.3mm were used to VR live stream a live jazz performance.

It’s broadcast live via Youtube live streaming, allowing you to experience a live concert from your own home.

One-Shot

This live stream is shot by way of One-Shot VR, which uses one camera and an Entaniya Fisheye HAL250 to make VR footage.

With a wide angle fisheye lens like the Entaniya Fisheye HAL250, you can create VR with one camera system.

Having a single camera means you don’t have to worry about stitching errors and delays caused by stitching. Fewer cameras mean fewer machine troubles.

Beautiful images even in the dark

Live streaming is possible even with a general 360VR camera, but the problem is that the lighting is often too dark to get a beautiful image at a concert venue.

That’s where a camera with a large sensor can be used to produce high quality images.

The development of the Entaniya Fisheye HAL was prompted by a number of requests from users who wanted a fisheye lens for VR that could be used with a larger camera than the action camera.

The most requested camera was the Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K.

We started development on the Micro Four Thirds mount and the right size for this camera’s sensor.
