The 9×7 digital cinema camera was developed for IMAX and Giant Screen, which require high-resolution video, and is also a high-end camera for the video industry, capable of shooting up to 65 megapixels (9,344 x 7,000).
Due to its high resolution, the lens needs to be sharp, and the Entaniya Fisheye HAL 220 LF has been very well received.

The ACHTEL 9X7 camera was paired with XM2 Pursuit using SHOTOVER System, to try and replace an array of 6 (or more) cinema cameras.
